[Apostle Heber J. Grant Diary] [At meeting of apostles] Prest Woodruff said that there were some lands in Canada that John W. Taylor had made arrangements to purchase that he thought that the Church should have as these lands were needed for a settlement of the saints, they adjoined our present location in Canada. A vote was taken to make the purchase in case that Bro. Taylor was willing to give up his claim on them.
