[Apostle Abraham H. Cannon Journal] Monday ". . . The Presidency urged upon Pres. Snow and several of the Twelve who were there the necessity of investigating [apostle] John W. Taylor's affairs, and seeing that he attends more faithfully to his ecclesiastical duties, and less to his personal affairs. He returned this morning from Canada, where he has been laboring for nearly six months almost entirely in his own interests."
